Over the past months I’ve been lazily scrolling Product Hunt, noticing how many similar products pop up every day now that shipping has become easier than ever. But a handful still made me pause, either because they genuinely solve a real PMM problem, or because they feel promising enough to test on an upcoming project.

Below are the tools that stood out to me, sorted from youngest to most established.

🟣 Aha

Launched: 2025

Aha positions itself as your 24/7 AI employee for influencer marketing, built especially for AI companies that want to scale efficiently through creators rather than building a big internal team.

The idea: you set up a campaign, and the AI handles the painful parts: matching, outreach, negotiation, contracts, tracking, fraud checks, all the way to performance reporting. As someone who used to treat influencer work as “nice-to-have but time-consuming,” the thought of delegating the repetitive bits to an AI agent is… very tempting.

For PMM work, I can see this being useful when:

• You’re launching an AI feature or product and want creator-driven awareness

• You don’t have a dedicated influencer team, but you don’t want to ignore the channel

• You need to test influencer as a growth lever without burning weeks on manual ops

just look at these promising numbers! Let’s hope it’s somewhere close to truth, but I would definitely recommend you to check everything before hitting the big button.

🟡 GrowthBook

Open-source A/B testing & feature flagging

I didn’t get to try GrowthBook fully because it requires connecting to your data warehouse or feature flags, but even from the outside, it looks impressive. But I’m always looking out for new tools on the market when it comes to analytics to see where future will take us.

What makes it stand out:

• Fully open source

• Built for growth + engineering teams

• The AI Solution grabbed my attention

If your team is experimenting heavily or your current A/B setup feels rigid or expensive, this is a tool worth bookmarking.

Founded in 2020.

I tested Arcade by creating a quick interactive tour, and it was ridiculously easy.
Drag, click, highlight, done.

As someone who builds product adoption content, onboarding walkthroughs, and demo flows, this kind of tool can easily save hours. I already use a competitor, but Arcade honestly made me rethink my setup.

🟡 Mailmodo

Founded in 2019.

Interactive email journeys

I have a project next quarter focused on product adoption (very excited about this one), and Mailmodo earned a spot on my “test list.”

Why?

• Interactive AMP components

• Visual automation builder

• Behavior-based triggers

• Interesting AI features

Feels like a great match for lifecycle flows that need more engagement than traditional email allows.

🟢 Xmind

Founded: 2006

Mind mapping + AI-powered brainstorming

Xmind is the only veteran on this list, mind mapping has been their thing since the very beginning. But what is new (and what pulled me back in) is their AI mind-map generator. 🤯 I’ve used Xmind on and off for years, but having AI create the first version of a map from just a prompt actually makes it exciting again. It turns the messy early stages of planning into something structured in seconds.

As PMMs, we spend half our lives structuring messy thoughts.
Kickoff plans, messaging frameworks, research synthesis, all of it becomes easier when the first version is generated for you.

I tested it on a couple of planning exercises and… yes, this is going into my regular workflow.

Final Thoughts

There are countless AI tools launching every week, but only a few feel genuinely valuable.

Easing back into work post-maternity leave, these tools feel like a reassuring reminder from my dearest CMO, Monica: we don’t need to work harder, just smarter.

YoinkUI | Copy any UI into React + Tailwind

Tested briefly, it’s a Chrome extension that lets you grab UI components from any site and instantly get React + Tailwind code. Useful when you're prototyping or building internal tools fast and don’t want to rebuild layouts from scratch.

Will likely use it again.

Grow on Reddit | Reddit outreach automation

Didn’t test yet, but I’m curious. Reddit can be a powerful (and unpredictable) growth channel. This tool claims to help with targeting and engagement. I'm cautious about anything automated on Reddit, but if used carefully, it could be worth exploring.

Planning to try on a side project.

PepSales AI | AI assistant for sales outreach (and Live Call Co‑pilot)

This could work great for teams that haven’t yet onboarded heavyweight CRMs or conversation intelligence tools. More than just an outbound assistant, it supports calls live - low setup, high context.

Think of it as a Copilot competitor for discovery and demo calls: pre‑prep, in‑call prompts, and post‑call summaries/analytics. Platforms like Apollo and Salesforce might eventually build some of their features in natively, but for now Pepsales is worth testing if you want to accelerate deal velocity early.

OpenArt.ai | Turn images into a story

I see new video editors coming up on Product Hunt almost every day but I liked their feature idea - feed in a set of images and generate a narrative. The UX is decent but the paywall hit too early in my case.🫸

…Still, I might try it again for visual storytelling or marketing experiments.

On the edge between novelty and useful. Worth watching.

TrackReviews | Monitor product reviews across platforms

Haven’t tested yet, but tracking reviews across App Store, G2, and others is a pain. This tool could be a nice lightweight way to stay on top of feedback and spot trends early.

Could be useful for product and growth folks managing multiple channels. Especially like that they can send the insights to Slack!

SparkNamer | AI-powered domain name generator

Although the idea is not a novelty, it’s quick, simple, and gets the job done. If you’re stuck finding the perfect domain name, this gives decent suggestions fast. Nothing fancy, but that’s kind of the point.

I’d probably use it again.

When to try: Creating internal roadmaps, investor updates, feature highlights.

💸 Run on Atlas - Assistance With Pricing

What it does: Generates pricing packages for your product based on your website and product description.
Value prop: Pricing is hard—this tool gives you a research-backed starting point.
What’s unique: Uses AI to break your offering into tiers (starter, pro, enterprise), then suggests features and value framing.
When to try: If you’re launching, re-pricing, or testing PLG monetization.
Price: Free to test; pricing plans TBD.
Close competitors: Paddle AI (partial overlap), ProfitWell, DIY Notion templates.
I ran one project through it and was pleasantly surprised by how well it identified the right packaging logic. Worth exploring—even if you don’t use the exact output, it might help you find inspiration or ideas you hadn’t thought of.

The cross-functional goal of PMM?

“Move beyond execution and become a true strategic partner.” Well, if you want of course. Some PMMs are quite happy to be a writer, designer, and general PM assistant. And nothing is wrong with it.

Why PM-PMM Collaboration Often Fails

After working across multiple products, I quickly realized that collaboration styles vary wildly — not just between companies, but even between individual PMs!

I’ve worked in pair with four amazing PMs only in the last three years, each with different expectations of the PMM role and collaboration. This doesn’t necessarily mean I had to change what I usually do as a PMM with each PM, but rather made me adapt to the new way of working and educate them on how I could contribute to the team and product success so it's easier for them to adapt to working with me as well.

Here’s what most PMMs struggle with:

❌ Being excluded from product launch timing decisions, leading to last-minute chaos.

😨 Limited involvement in Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy, weakening positioning and messaging. Some companies don’t trust the PM role enough or don’t even know this should be done by PMMs and delegate this responsibility to various other roles. In best case its PM but it could also be Sales, Marketing and yes, Engineering.

😵‍💫 Being seen as just a designer or copywriter rather than a strategic partner.

So, what do you do if you find yourself sidelined? How can you create a flourishing relationship to cobuild and -ship amazing products?

The Choice That Changes Everything

You have two options:

1. Accept the status quo and just execute tasks as they come.

2. Take control and establish a structured, strategic collaboration process.

Choosing the second option is a game-changer. By redefining your role and clearly communicating your value, you can transform the way PMs view and work with you.

How can you do this? Let’s dive into the responsibilities of both roles.

This is where our beloved community defines roles of PM & PMMs:

By who really sets these rules and why shall one follow them? In reality, who owns what and when during the product development lifecycle stage depends on:

1. Current needs of the company.

2. Previous experience of both PM and PMM with the other roles.

3. Personal talents and skills.

4. The roles of people from other departments in the same company.

So, instead of enforcing a rigid structure and responsibilities, why not build your own winning partnership?

The Ultimate PM-PMM Collaboration Framework

Here’s how to make collaboration work (and make your PM your biggest ally):

1. Speak Their Language

• Understand their product development process. Each PM works differently — some asynchronously, some iteratively. They use different methodologies of writing tech documentation, shipping the product, working with a team (even if they work in the same company!) Learn their terminology.

• Clarify expectations at each stage, so you can proactively contribute instead of reacting at the last minute. And do this from the start.

• Clarify the timeline. Chances are you’ll hear something like ‘we don’t know yet when this happens’, however, don’t give up - propose a few scenarios of the launch based on the timelines and what they can expect based on this. Try to get at least approximate timing - for example, if you are planning for Q3, try to get ‘mid of August’ answer.

  💡 Pro Tip: Not sure when the product will launch? Suggest different launch scenarios based on typical timelines!

• Identify what’s not working and propose solutions early. No matter how hard you tried to set the right expectations, planning each stage of the product launch, sometimes things goes wrong. Make sure you inform PM about the risks as soon as you spot them and come up with a few aversing strategies.

2. Implement a Clear Collaboration Structure

3. Set the Collaboration Up for Success

• Prepare your PMs for this shift: Show them how structured alignment benefits both sides.

• Use past launches as examples: Highlight previous challenges and show how this framework could have improved results. Basically, you can just fill this out using the recent launch experience - what did you do at each stage of the product lifecycle, what did they do, what would you wish to do different for all future launches.

• Might seem small, but can structuring your discussions with PMs can make your life much easier - so do send a pre-read before meetings. In my experience, PMMs are usually more structured than PMs, so make sure you keep an agenda doc attached to all meetings and ask PMs to contribute their input beforehand.

Final Thoughts

PM-PMM collaboration doesn’t have to be a battle. Maybe PM is there to save the world, but would they succeed as fast as the world needs it without PMM’s skills and knowledge?
